ABOUT
CLIENTS
I'm Beth Golding, and I'm an East London based Interiors Stylist, Set Designer and offer Creative Direction. My skills expand to art direction, props, content creation, concept design, interior design, events, food, consultancy and I dabble in floral design.
"I'm a born and bred East Londoner. A lot has changed in East London from when I was a child, it used to be a place you would be scared to take a stroll in but in a very short space of time I feel like East London finally became understood. Its now a place where everyone is accepted, where diversity is the key aspect of what keeps it together. I love walking it's streets of art, history, creativity, my childhood & the all important souls of the community."
With 15 years of experience I started my career as an interior styling assistant to my talented mum. I assisted her at the age of 15 and at the age of 21 I started styling myself. My passion for Interiors was nurtured into my way of life from an early age resulting in an abundance of experience in the industry.
Working with vast teams including photographers, videographers, set builders, production companies, PR managers, agencies, marketing specialists, designers, assistants, retouchers and more. I can organise my own team to create a clients vision as well as working with existing expertise. My mum and I recently set up Mum & Me Productions where we offer a creative production service tailored for to the Interior industry.
"I love that in the creative world you can take a bit of everything from each era, each style, each culture, each colour and it’s like a jigsaw in my mind- ‘yeah this can work!’.
The clash, for me, is the key. Bringing old and new is always a classic but also bringing print on print, orange onto green, modern into traditional. clash, clash, clash. The interiors and creative industry is something that renovates itself. It’s previous eras come back to life in modern day with a new twist or turn as the ideology of the industry expands."
My main aim is to consider a clients brief and portray what they visualise and stand for as a brand and as creative concept. I work hard to understand the values of my clients. Working to specific client briefs to create organised, efficient, individual and tasteful projects.
My personal style is minimal but it’s statement, it’s quiet but bold and I think that pretty much sums me up as a person and a creative.
I am the homeowner and designer of my recent project The East Ldn Space.
It will be launching soon as a location space for the creative industry to hire. The concept is the 'new minimalism' where the space is tonal and the core of its features stand on off whites and neutral textures but incorporating splashes of stylish colour. My kitchen is a lemon meringue colour. I'm Looking forward to showcasing it later this year.
"My dream home would feature a large worn velvet baby blue Camaleonda Mario Bellini sofa and a huge chrome arched floor standing light (Chrome is back!). Frosted Perspex ice cream coloured plinths as surfaces. It would be a historic loft style building with industrial features and neutral in colour. Fashion and Interior books and magazines would be stacked floor to ceiling"
